MINISTRIES
SERVING AS A CHUCH IN EDMONTON
At Cornerstone we value people and we try to reflect that in the various ministries we offer. Many of our ministries are run by fantastic volunteers and leaders who serve God by serving others.
The following is a list that we offer in our church to the Edmonton community. We invite you to join us or contact us for more information.
Kid's Ministry
Each Sunday our children have a time dedicated to teaching the children. After our time of praise and worship, the children are prayed for and then allowed to go with their teachers to their specific classes. Our teachers are highly qualified and care about each child.
Bible Study and Prayer
Each Thursday from 7:00pm to 8:00pm there is an interactive Bible Study that takes place in the main sanctuary. These studies are usually of a specific book in the Bible and taught by one of our gifted Bible teachers. Following the Bible Study is a time of prayer until approximately 9:00pm.
Young Adults (College and Career)
Our youth and young adult ministry is scheduled usually twice a month and involves activities, Bible studies and various events that promote healthy relationships in a friendly safe environment. As well, there are periodic activities that promote and reach out to those in need in the Edmonton area. Most of these activities take place on Friday nights.
Fellowship Times
Here at Cornerstone, we desire to emphasize that we are a family. Being a family means there are times to fellowship and get to know each other. This is done through our various groups whether it be for the women, men, a special occasion or just a random Sunday.
Music Ministry
Expressive, lively and Spirit-led praise and worship is a foundational aspect to the vision of Cornerstone. We are blessed to have a team of musicians, singers, and audio-visual personnel who strive to provide an atmosphere of excellence but more importantly a place to worship God. There are opportunities to serve.
Pastoral Care
We understand that the only lasting change comes from God working in our lives. At Cornerstone, we have a team of leaders that provides pastoral care to everyone who comes through our doors. Our team is passionate about seeing each person experience the love of God, grow in their relationship with Him, and fulfill their purpose. Whether it be a small practical thing or a more complex spiritual issue, we are here to serve.
